Photograph of a view of a two men on a bridge, taken in Killarney. The man in the foreground faces away from the camera. He appears to be holding a pole and wears light colour trousers, a dark colour jacket and a light colour hat. In the middle ground, on the other end of the bridge, a man is seated on a fence and holds a pole. He wears dark clothing. There are trees around the bridge, and a mountain in the background.
A carbon copy is adhered on top of the original albumen print. Carbon prints are more stable compared to albumen prints, the latter prone to fading. Carbon copies were therefore created for posterity.
