Photograph of Prince Consorts's Organ Room or Drawing Room. This is a richly decorated room with a gilded ceiling, and dark walls, possibly brocade. At the far end is an organ which is in two section, around a chimney piece. It was made by Gray& Davison in 1841. There is a large Gothic-style bookcase made by Carl Leistler for the Austrian exhibit at the Great Exhibition, and presented to Queen Victoria by the Emperor of Austria, 1851. In the middle section is a marble bust and a small early-Italian painting.
