Glass plate negative of James Bowman standing in three-quarters length, against a plain background and facing three-quarters to the left. He wears a glengarry hat, tweeds and a tartan plaid wrapped over his left shoulder. He holds a walking stick in one hand.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2160352.Provenance
