Album containing 40 photographs of plans, exterior and interior views as well as furniture and architectural details of the private home of William Burges (1827-81), The Tower House, on Melbury Road, Kensington. The album also contains 24 photographs of some of the objects, architecture and architectural elements the architect designed. The images are accompanied by descriptions written by R.P. Pullan (1825-88), architect and archaeologist, who was also Burges's brother-in-law and lived in the architect's house after his death.
