A pair of tall pyramidical Delft pottery bulb vases with spirally-moulded conical lids and crocket-like bulb cups along angles and on corner of base, with spreading foot. Decorated with strapwork cartouches, acanthus foliage and the Royal coat of arms and cypher WMRR (for William III and Mary II).
Provenance
Commissioned by Queen Mary II prior to her death in 1694.
