I your Majesty’s most dutiful subject, most Humbly beg to present for your Majesty’s Library a Persian Work styles “Karnama-i-Hydary,’ which has been translated into Persian from the writings of several eminent English authors, as noted in page 17 of the work, on the History of my Grand Father and Father. Permit me therefore with due submission to beg the favour of your Majesty’s ordering the work to be placed in the Library to perpetuate the memory of my ancestors, which mark of Kindness will ever be esteemed by
