Portrait of Muazzam Khan, c. 1650-60.
A nim-rang (half-colour) portrait of Muazzam Khan, the name given to Mir Muhammad Said (1591-1663), a general and Governor of Bengal under the Mughal Emperor Alamgir. The coloured elements of sward and sky are later eighteenth-century additions.
