f. 32 from a Mughal Album of portraits
Recto:Portrait of Abd al-Mumin Khan, c.1610-20.
Abd al-Mumin Khan (d.1598) was the only son of Abdullah Khan (see folio 31 RCIN 1005038.ae). He rebelled against his father and eventually took the Uzbek throne from him in 1598 but was assassinated the same year. This portrait appears to be a copy of a painting from the so-called Nasir al-Din Shah Album in the Golestan Palace library.
Verso:
Verse by Jami
من هیچم وکم زهیچ هم بسیاری / از هیچ و کم از هیچ نیاید کاری
هر سر که ز اسرار حقیقت گویم / ز آنم نبود بهره بجز گفتاری
