Jewellery designer Alex Monroe creates new designs for Buckingham Palace range

Following the success of last year's collaboration, Royal Collection Trust has invited British jeweller Alex Monroe to expand his popular jewellery range inspired by the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace.  Five necklaces have been added to the Alex Monroe for Buckingham Palace range. Each piece is made by hand in the designer's London studios using sterling silver and 22ct gold. The new additions include:

  • A charming corgi pendant (silver, £126.00, gold-plated, £150.00)
  • A diamond-set pendant engraved with a corgi and decorated with bows and flowers inspired by the interiors of Buckingham Palace (silver, £126.00, gold-plated, £180.00)
  • A crown pendant inset with a diamond (silver, £156.00, gold-plated, £180.00)
  • A coach pendant with moveable wheels, inspired by theDiamond Jubilee State Coach in the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace (silver, £195.00, gold-plated, £225.00)
  • A locket inspired by the domed ceiling of Palace's Music Room, featuring Alex's signature bee motif (gold-plated, £330.00)

The new additions to the range will launch on 23 July, when the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace open to visitors for the summer, including the special exhibition Fashioning a Reign: 90 Years of Style from The Queen's Wardrobe
