The splendour and history of Windsor Castle is perfectly matched by the beauty and serenity of The Savill Garden, just four miles away. Combine your visit to Windsor Castle with The Savill Garden for an enjoyable summer’s day out.

The Savill Garden is one of the finest royal gardens within Windsor Great Park. In 1932 Queen Mary gave Sir Eric Savill permission to develop a 35-acre garden in Windsor Great Park. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother showed great interest in the garden, and the Temperate House is dedicated to her. The garden is designed for year-round interest and colour.

Visitors can delight in the vibrant colour of The Savill Garden’s beautiful herbaceous borders and the eye-catching Savill Building. Visitor facilities include a gift shop and restaurant.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
